Nantes Boss, Aristory Salutes ‘Great Professional’ Simon

Nantes manager, Pierre Aristory has labelled Moses Simon a “great professional” after the Nigerian scored the winning goal in the Canaries 1-0 victory against Clermont on Sunday afternoon.

Simon fired home the winning goal from outside the box three minutes after the break.

The victory was Nantes’ first of the 2023/24 season.

It was the winger’s first goal of the season for the Yellow and Green.

Simon has struggled in front of goal in recent months.

The Nigeria international last registered a goal for Nantes against Ajaccio on January 13.

“I’m happy for Simon. He is very pleasant to live with, a great professional. He has ego and shows that he is a great player,” Aristory told the club’s official website.

“He is very comfortable on the left, but I am convinced that he can be very good in the center or on the right. It’s essential to have these attackers.

“He has this explosiveness, against Seidu who has won the most duels in the championship. He is in shape. He reaches the age of emotional maturity. He analyzes very quickly and he masters it.”
