The game/”>World Cup started on Sunday with an opening ceremony featuring American actor Morgan Freeman, Qatari YouTuber Ghanim al-Muftah, and Qatari singer Dana al-Fardan.

Meanwhile, the opening match is between Qatar and Ecuador at the Al-Bayt Stadium in Al Khor, north of Doha. Fans all over the world are excited to watch the game as they root for their favourite country and team.
