Peter Obi Meets Former Emir Sanusi Lamido To Discuss Nation Building

Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), met with Muhammadu Sanusi II, former Emir of Kano, on Saturday.

Obi, who tweeted photos of the meeting, said they exchanged views on matters pertaining to “national interest, nation-building and the broad concept of diversity, education, social inclusion, the economy, consumption and production patterns”.

Peter Obi is unrelenting, in his quest to clinch the number one seat in the country. The Labour party candidate is currently moving around the world, and having conversations with well-meaning Nigerians, on the way forward for the country.

Although Peter Obi and the Labour party are yet to roll out their manifesto, or inaugurate their campaign committee, the former Anambra state governor is not resting on his hordes.

In related news, the APC and its candidate, Asiwaju Tinubu, are fighting a silent war, mainly due to the structure of the campaign committee. The Chairman of the party, Adamu Abdullahi is insisting that the list is not comprehensive enough.

Sources are also of the opinion that the internal wrangling within the party, was the immediate cause for the speedy return of Asiwaju, from his ”break” in the UK.
