Dumped Alex Rodriguez Says Failed Relationship With Jennifer Lopez Was ‘Incredible’
It’s not everyday someone labels a failed relationship as “incredible” but that’s exactly what Alex Rodriguez has done.
The former baseball player, 46, has opened up on his five-year relationship with Jennifer Lopez and appeared to be full of praise for the singer and their time together.
The former sports star and the 52-year-old singer called time on their engagement in April after saying in a joint statement that they were “better as friends”.

Now, A-Rod has talked about their time together in a new interview which was published on Tuesday, and claimed he’s “in a great place” since the split.
He said: “I had five years of an incredible life and partnership and also with my daughters, we learned so much.”
He explained that he and his daughters — Natasha, 16, and Ella, 12 — can move forward with their lives, just as J-Lo is doing as she continues to get close to former flame Ben Affleck.
Alex added that him and his daughters have the “opportunity to take that and move forward and say, ‘You know what? We’re so grateful for the last five years, how do we make the next five years better because of lessons learned?’”
He went on to thank God for his situation, saying: “I’m so grateful for where God and the light has really put me, and I’m really looking forward. Mostly to see how my girls keep developing.”
His comments come as Jenny from the Block brutally erased all trace of former fiancé from her social media posts .
While she has unfollowed him on the platforms, it appeared as though Alex wasn’t ready to remove her just yet and remained following her as of Tuesday night.
During the course of their high-profile relationship, the pair often featured on each others’ social media feeds – with a stunning batch of engagement photos emerging of the two two years ago that were splashed all over their socials.
But the posts – like the relationship – are no more as Jenny starts afresh with Oscar-winning actor Ben.
Bennifer were engaged back in 2003 but split a year later due to overwhelming public interest in their relationship.

It’s been reported that the smitten-again pair have been house hunting in recent weeks .
Since rekindling their romance, the newly-reunited pair haven’t been shy about their love, and have been spotted looking very cosy on numerous occasions.
